Timeless design and ideal working environment in the St Martin Tower
The 18-storey St Martin Tower in Frankfurt was completed in 2015. Its lightness and elegance serve to impress the viewer of this timeless and self-confident piece of architecture. Ensuring maximum light exposure for each of the offices as well as the divisibility and flexibility of the rooms were top priorities during planning. The office building offers tenants and external users a comprehensive service infrastructure, from conference rooms, a restaurant and a roof terrace to attractive, large open areas which can be used for events and presentations. Permanent tenants can also make use of a concierge service, the in-house gym, and a day care center for children.
For the planning, the architects used the software ARCHICAD from GRAPHISOFT to ensure that the project ran smoothly with a premier design process. This enabled the project to be conducted simultaneously on several virtual servers, which facilitated collaboration amongst the planners. The use of BIM (Building Information Modeling) offers many advantages in terms of efficiency, error minimization and overlapping information transparency.
The building complies with the latest standards in “green building”, conserves valuable resources, and reduces energy costs. The building is run using an intelligent house technology and a software-supported, efficient building and area management system created by CREM Solutions.
